With a strong presence at Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich, Wattkraft once again demonstrated its role as a leading distributor and system integrator for sustainable energy solutions. For three days, our exhibition booth became a hub for intensive professional dialogue, inspiring discussions, pioneering projects and a variety of highlights that underlined our close partnership with Huawei FusionSolar and our role as a key player in the European energy transition.
A milestone on stage
A special highlight of the trade fair was the festive ceremony on the big stage, where Wattkraft and Huawei announced the official breakthrough of 2,000 C&I ESS sets ordered for 2025. This moment marked a significant milestone and was followed with great attention by partners, customers and the media.

‘This figure symbolises the speed and confidence the market has in Huawei’s intelligent storage solutions and the implementation strength of our team,’ explains Mike Renner, COO at Wattkraft. ‘We thank Huawei for this strong partnership and look forward to continuing to actively shape the transformation.’
High demand for dialogue on intelligent storage solutions
In numerous discussions with installers, project developers, EPCs, investors, partners and media representatives, it quickly became clear that the demand for scalable, secure and future-orientated storage solutions for commercial, industrial and large systems is unbroken. Wattkraft presented the entire range of the Huawei portfolio in Munich, from residential ESS to the new LUNA2000-215kWh system for C&I and the new 4.5MWh utility solution with container design, which as the successor to the proven 2MWh solution now combines even higher performance and integrated safety standards.

Joachim Schöniger, Solution Manager at Wattkraft, sees the great interest in C&I and utility storage solutions as a sign of increasingly widespread application practice: ‘Not only did we receive many specific project enquiries at the trade fair, but we also saw how established the topic of energy storage has become in day-to-day project work. In combination with intelligent telecontrol technology and smart control, together with Huawei we offer solutions that are technically convincing and economically scalable.’
Wattkraft demonstrates highlights of Huawei FusionSolar
Wattkraft once again attracted numerous visitors to its booth at Intersolar Europe 2025 this year – not least thanks to the impressive presentation of selected highlights from the Huawei FusionSolar portfolio. The focus was particularly on the new miniature demo products of the ‘LUNA2000-215’ C&I storage system and the ‘LUNA2000-4.5MWh’ utility battery container, which clearly demonstrated the functionality and possibilities of both innovations. The product presentation was flanked by high-calibre signing ceremonies and award ceremonies, which sent a further strong signal of the trust in the partnership with Huawei.

Wolfgang Wiegand, Head of Sales at Wattkraft, is delighted: ‘For us, Intersolar is a meeting place every year – with long-standing partners, with new customers and with all those who share our passion for the sustainable transformation of the European energy industry. We are particularly proud of the signing ceremony with MHB Montage and Huawei for the agreement on a 320 MWh BESS project. Such large-volume storage solutions show how market-ready and practical our joint concepts now are. Our entire sales team is very positive – full of positive discussions, strong partnerships and concrete solutions for complex projects.’
International presence: Benelux, Spain and Italy
Wattkraft was also able to set strong accents internationally with its teams from Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. The Benelux team, for example, was in dialogue with numerous partners and customers and was able to celebrate several highlights:
‘Intersolar Europe 2025 was a complete success for our team from the Benelux countries. In addition to the intensive dialogue with international partners and customers at the Wattkraft booth, we were able to celebrate three major highlights: the conclusion of a contract for a 66 MWh project with Energreen, the announcement of Zonneklaar as a strategic partner for DC charging technology and our participation in the signing ceremony for the C&I BESS partnership with VDH Solar and Huawei. These partnerships mark an important milestone and strengthen our joint commitment to the energy transition in Europe. We are very much looking forward to realising the ambitious projects that we will implement on this basis,’ announces Isabel Hoenselaar from Wattkraft Benelux.

The Spanish team led by Jesús Heras was honoured twice at the trade fair – with the 5-star ‘Certified Service Partner Smart PV’ award and the ‘Smart PV C&I Energy Storage Professional Service’ certificate. Both awards recognise the outstanding technical support and expertise of the Spanish colleagues in dealing with Huawei systems. Giovanbattista Napolitano, Technical Director Central-Southern Europe, was also delighted: ‘Intersolar 2025 was a great opportunity to showcase our technical expertise and project experience across all Huawei product lines. Italy is a fast-growing market for C&I and residential building solutions – and we are proud to be a strong local partner with the right tools to support this development. We thank all partners, visitors and especially the Huawei team for the great support during the show.’

Acknowledgements and look ahead
A big thank you to all partners, visitors and customers for their trust, open dialogue and joint commitment to the energy transition in Europe.
A very special thanks goes to our great organisation team. With a great deal of passion, vision and attention to detail, they not only planned and realised our entire trade fair presence at Intersolar 2025 – from booth design to set-up and dismantling, the selection and support of hostesses, smooth booth tours and well thought-out guest catering to the all-round care of our team on site. The stylish evening event on the second day of the trade fair was also the result of meticulous preparation – and thanks to this professionalism, it was an unforgettable evening for hundreds of guests.

The next Intersolar Europe will take place in Munich from 24 to 26 June 2026. And one thing is already certain: Wattkraft will once again be represented with innovations, technical expertise and a passionate team.
